I would hope not your on pace to lose 108 games your getting close to 1962 mets country, and that was a horrific team.
I don't think you will be anywhere near this pace. But that is not the problem, the problem is how do you become and over 500 team. Reemember the further you fall under .500 the more games over 500 you have to be the rest of season just to get 500.
And lets face it CC is not very good. I think we can all agree on that, so are we expecting that to get better I don't think so. Evoldi is not that good, sorry, will his era drop under 5, but unless he is getting a ton of runs he is not that good of a pitcher, he is maddening, at some point you will come to same conclusion I saw when I see him all those years for then it florida. Pinedia is the one that would be scaring me, I would like to think he can pitch better, but his stuff simply doesn't look that good. if his stuff doesn't go back to 2015 levels he will have a long year. I still think severino will figure it out but there are clearly growing pains here. So a team with 1 surefired starter is gonna be and over 500 team I don't think so. Now I orignally thought they would be over .500 because I didn't expect severino to go through these growing pains, probably because I'm spoiled with how my young pitching developed that I assumed severino who has great stuff, would do well, I also assumed Pinedia would show more consistency and take a step foward instead his stuff, has taken two steps back. This team in my opinion is time to panic.
They should bench Headley. A-rod has to play although it is gonna be dimished returns there. Tex I assume will start to hit, then again he is probably got a trip to the DL coming. Mccann is okay. Didi is okay, but he is suppose to be a 8-9 hitter so how much can you really expect. I mean castro is good. And for all your ripping of gardner at least he gets on base that is more then I can say for ellsbury in my opinion.
