To see proof that making movies on an island is a bad idea you need look no further than the Isle of Mann where this company once pretended to operate a film studio.
The Isle of Mann provided subsidies for films at one time but even with subsidies they couldn't attract enough projects to make filming worthwhile because the expense of importing everything onto the island negated the benefit of the subsidies. Same with Saipan. There is no motion picture infra-structure there. Everything has to be shipped in. You're looking at millions in expenses before you shoot a single frame.
This idea of shooting on Saipan is so stupid it can't be real. No one is that dumb. If you really wanted to get in the business you would not be setting up in Saipan. It's all smoke and mirrors. On the plus side it seems no one is falling for this BS.
