Yes, we have several friends and neighbors who worked for Simplicity over the years. Unfortunately the company was purchased first by Briggs & Stratton (a good move we thought) but then sold again to ????? who moved manufacturing out of state.
I own a Simplicity snow blower which has saved me from death by snow shoveling several times! Great machine. They got some really good press some years ago when they came out with their official NFL painted mowers!

Word was that when they came out with this new model several people said the engine cover looked like a football helmet. And from there..........!
