Someone should do a postmortem on this board correcting some of the misconceptions that were opined over the last 15 months.
My favorites:
- shorts have to cover, they don't however.
- worth noting, the mere existence of convertible bonds results in higher short interest due to bond holders hedging!!
- fraud and insolvency are very technical and legal terms, you probably shouldn't use them if you don't know what they mean.
- be aware that bankruptcy starts with liquidation values as a base (they can adjust up)
