You have to watch entire video..confusing at first ,but he will make it clearer as he goes on. Don't give up..it's well worth it because many people don't use it..they get confused, so you have the advantage over them.
Just read the comments on his video..people love it.
Use candlestick charts with Ichimoku all the time.
When your done watching this one ,watch the one on RSI and overbought/oversold. Then when it becomes second nature you can move on to the more involve nature of Ichimoku.
Like i said..he's kind of slow ,but it's for the best.
Also..to remember it easier, just remember the first letter of each name while watching the video.
T= Tenkan-sen K= Kijun-sen A Span = Senkou span A B Span = Senkou span B K= Kumo C= Chikou span
Ichimoku for beginners made simple

PS: He mentions the last 9 periods , Periods = each candlestick time frame.
Yes ,you need to use your candlestick chart.
So if I'm using a 1 minute CS chart ..9 periods mean nine individual candlesticks.
If I'm using 5 min chart ..it's still 9 Candlesticks regardless what time frame you are using.
Each candlestick is a period,regardless of the time you give it.
I tell you this, because he doesn't mention it right away and some people will be confused.
