The National Foundation for Marine Sciences is a new non-profit organization dedicated to the education, exploration, research and preservation of marine habitats, life, material culture, and archeology.

They can't pay debt notes, but they can give a "significant gift" to help start a foundation?

Then they give scholarships....

The Scholarships have been awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be pursuing careers in marine science and related fields. This year's recipients are from New York and Florida.
