While the cost is expensive, I believe it is comparable to other treatment programs. The advantage of the implant was taking the client out of the picture and removing the possibility of them not taking the medication. This has been reported to significantly increase their success rate, something the insurance companies should have simply fell in love with but for whatever reason, the company could never make the case.

Consequently you are correct in that not getting the insurance companies to buy in has probably been the single most pressing issue because they have never been able to create a viable revenue stream. This issue is something I've stated before.

Until that changes, we sit and languish watching the share price dwindle to nothing as they are forced to again and again seek out other methods of financing operations until such a revenue stream can be created.
