Their retell business is DOA and they are sinking hundreds of millions into a website that is Amazons ugly step cousin. Berkowitz and all Sears fans argument is the value is in the real estate and brands. But if it's true why has every spin off tanked? Sears hometown - near 52 week lows. Lands end - near 52 week lows. Orchard Supply - bought out for pennies on the dollar in bankruptcy protocol. Sears Canada - most valuable real estate already sold. And now they claim the latest spin off of real estate into Seritage Growth has barely dented their real estate portfolio yet if that were true why is it that Buffett is buying SEG and not SHLD
