SCMP

A biotech play

For those that want to own the sector because it is beat up. I actually don't have any issue with that. The issue I have is they should be held to the same valuation arguement any other sector has. So I brought SCMP in the 10.60's and 10.70's because of this.

1) SCMP is guiding for .97-1.07 adjusted in FY 16. We are talking 10 times earnings for a company growing this rapidly. So I believe it is cheap.

2) SCMP is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off it's highs so it meets the beat up factor with a 52 week high of $29.

3) SCMP balance sheet is solid with a decent cash position as well.

Conclusion: I believe playing the biotech sector is not a bad idea, play it with things that are beat up even better. Playing it with profitable companies and reasoanble PE's considering growth to me sounds like a great idea. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
