I don't think traditional timelines for roll-out of a new product are valid for the low/high nic products.

Marlboro certainly doesn't take just a year to make a new blend, you may be confusing the fact that big brands come out with new products regularly with the time it takes to develop them. I know from a very reliable source that the skyline blend took 5 years to develop, and its just a higher menthol blend.

Having said that, the BAT deal is certainly disappointing thus fat. I was merely stating that its untrue to say none of the big players are using/licensing the tech.
