Disney Says Stan Lee Media Backer Drained Bank Accounts

Law360, New York (February 2, 2016, 4:44 PM ET) -- The group funding Stan Lee Media Inc. — which owes the Walt Disney Co. $462,000 in attorneys' fees for unsuccessfully claiming it owned the rights to Spider Man and other Marvel characters — drained its bank accounts as Disney launched efforts to collect the fees, the media giant has told a judge.
