We heard this same thing last week, and surprise surprise, no major selling, lol. Last day of the year. Market has been open for an hour. Zero volume. I'm not seeing that tax loss selling we often hear so much about. I think this statement gets made in hopes of encouraging selling, since it is said so often, but is rarely supported.

Wish I had a nickel for every time I've heard someone claim "Tax loss selling is coming", lol. I've been in penny stocks for many years and have heard that hundreds of times. I've yet to really see any significant "tax loss selling" in penny stocks.

I think it gets used by folks who hope to see a stock drop and they use the statement to encourage selling.
