Help

Ive been doing some DD on a few mining companies and have been noticing a lot do not show any revenue. Their financial reports have comments like the following


"Company has no operations or realized revenues from its planned principal business purpose." what does this mean?

anyone with some suggested reading material to help me better understand the mining business's financial statements would be greatly appreciated! very confused investor right now.
