I absolutely love this post...Thanks WAMULICIOUS for putting this important info, it follows the long-term gameplan of KKR and others.
KKR and their investor partners (some who are billionaires) are doing exactly as we have been forecasting for over 3 years now. WMIH is a SPAC or SPV (Special Purpose Acquisition Corp/Special Purpose Vehicle).

As we have explained in the past, we are offered the opportunity to "ride the coattails of big Private Equity and other large-scale investors" as common equity holders on a post-exit schedule of events.

There is plenty of room for investors to jump on board and WMIH BOD has made sure they stayed independent of the Corp.. The CEO,COO and CFO are allowed to be employees of the SPAC and sit on BOD. i.e. Gallagher and Fairfield.

To re-familiarize yourselves with the SPAC/SPV, I have retrieved a couple of posts for you. I urge all to re-read and familiarize yourselves with the future of WMIH. I expect this info from KKR came out on Nov 16th, the day WMIH started its ascent.

Remember Errico the Hedge-Fund manager from Locust Wood, stated in Feb 2014, what he believed KKR would do with WMIH. Soon we will know... The article is below.

Errico of Locust Wood believes KKR made the investment so it can push forward acquisitions that utilize WMI Holdings NOLs. He now characterizes WMI Holdings as a "KKR special purpose acquisition vehicle."

"Expect acquisitions to be announced sooner rather than later," Errico said. He said it was a smaller cap, more speculative way to invest alongside KKR
