vix futures expire Tuesday? Next week is jam packed with market moving events as well as Canadian bank earnings. I have a terrible track record shorting Cdn banks over the last few years. With that said our market internals have been hammered this year and I don't see how the banks are going to shy away from the looming housing crisis. I live in ground zero for the current shit storm here in Calgary. Over half of my friends are unemployed and their isn't much work available. I think housing is in for a major drop in the next few months and what I am seeing in the global commodity scene is reminiscent of the 08 crisis. Shorting the markets is like chasing unicorns, with all that said next week the risk to reward looks great, the risk is worth the reward if you find that pointy horse! Cheers
