It's not the first I've seen. It's amazing what some people will say. Many years ago at SI, there was a guy in a loser penny stock who told his own tragic story. He claimed he had MS that was so bad he was practically a quadriplegic, but he was bravely trying to finance a college degree by playing the market. There were, of course, many bells and whistles, explained over the course of a couple of weeks.

That was back in the early days of the internet. The idiot used the same alias--always at SI--to create an entirely different persona: a wildly successful trader who never lost on a trade, and lived in a $5 million house in Florida...
