If you want to do something useful, instead of wasting your time and Mel's time, why don't you ask him how much money he would need to revive the company?

Ask him what it would take to actually create another production run, and have enough resources to advertise and market the product effectively so that there would quickly be new revenue to create yet another production run, and another, and another.

Then, talk to people here on iHub, and anywhere else that you can, to attempt to put together a group of investors to actually provide enough funding to get things moving again.

You can just continue to bellyache about how you wish...
