The area of upstate New York where the company is headquartered is in one of the enterprise zones that the Governor is pushing to try to bring business back to that area. As such, they will qualify for big tax breaks and other goodies, such as very low real estate and (non technical) labor costs. It sounds like a very smart move to me.
