The only true failure here is your inability to accept the fact that you invested in something that you don't believe in. Because there is no technical data, broker recommendation or otherwise that should keep invested here.
I don't believe failure or success of a disruptive technology such as fuel cells solely rests on one man.
There are many complex factors at play here. If you can't appreciate there are other investments that would better serve your risk benefit ratio and callous sensibilities.
