A little confused by your original questions if you don't have Level II. And in answer to this particular question, yes you can see which market maker fills and moves on level II. If and when you start trading enough you will be eligible for Etrade Pro where you can get not only level II on Etrade but loads of other great scans and Strategy Scanner. You can also pick your mm if you want - I sometimes use it in after hours instead of using the auto feature.
