Well there wasn't much to go on in terms of the info out there that they were going to be investing in more reserves. I think that has more to do with the positive SP pre-market impact then their 3rd QTR financials...though they came in better than expected. The sale of their Eagleford assets told me they were trying to manage their debt situation, but they obviously found other ways.

SD may be trying all they can to get their SP back above $1 to avoid a reverse split. I just saw the vote for it come out a couple weeks ago and I of course voted "no".

SD was a client of mine in West, TX. They purchased a lot of rotating equipment from my company to support their gas processing endeavors at their Century plant which is now owned and operated by Oxy. Been there a few times back in 2011/12. That's when SD was heavy into NG as opposed to oil. They since have done a 180 and are mostly oil. They lost tons of money on that project and have been reeling financially ever since...they only survived thanks to $100 oil at the time and their change in commodity strategy.
