There shouldn't be any problems getting the deal approved since there isn't a lot of overlap. There are some locations where the stores are across the street from each other and those Rite Aid's will close. But, in the vast majority of the US there isn't much overlap between the two. I don't see any issues with the deal going through.

I'm just annoyed I didn't buy shares earlier in the month when a few friends and I were discussing the possibility. We decided it was like flipping a coin and none of us moved on it.
