Simple math really. A lot more shares now, It all adds up. The share buyback should be decreasing the dilution and the price should be adjusting accordingly.

Example is 1000 shares @ $4.00 is equal to 2000 shares @ $2.00 as well as 4000 shares @ $1.00 The more shares there are, the less value each share has. Their buyback is retiring shares, this decreasing the total amount of shares and increasing the value of each individual share.
