Yes! For decades Alaska had the only liquifaction/export terminal in all of the U.S. Major customers were Asian, predominately Japan.
Eventually it fell into (mostly?) dis-use. I wonder if it could be re-started/upgraded quickly if the infra-structure became available to deliver NG to that terminal.
