Can I ask you a few questions ...some related to AMRN.
First tho
You mentioned you were a type 1 diabetic .
A friends early 20's son was recently diagnosed as T1 and really struggles with maintaining his sugar levels ( using lay mans info here , please correct if necessary ) .

Anyway he has interested in using Dexcom's mobile continuous glucose monitoring system ...theres an Iphone ap that allows him to chk sugar readings on his Iphone .
He liked the idea as when with friends they would just think he was cking email or texting .
Company is Dexcom ...DXCM ...Do you have an opinion on the benefits /advantages ( or lack of ) of their system ...? Thx .
How many times a day do you need to chk sugar levels.

Re the Flu shot ...major push from what I can tell in the US but unsure of any effort in E European countries where they recruited a lot for RI.

I think the actual numbers of diabetics in RI is about 60% ...James I think has the best numbers on that.

Have they always been that aggressive re diabetics and Flu shots ?
They seem more aggressive in ensuring CAD patients at Kaiser get it now.

Glad U took the Flu shot to help protect your husband .
That is one of the important reasons to get the shot ..to protect others , especially the elderly
