That's exactly why I asked the question regarding the statement that their water is Gluten-Free:

Does this suggest that their water is squeezed out of some type of grain?

Or that no grains were harmed in the process of bottling the water, thus preventing a backlash from his fellow vegans.

Gluten (from Latin gluten, "glue") is a protein composite found in wheat and related grains, including barley and rye. Gluten gives elasticity to dough, helping it rise and keep its shape and often gives the final product a chewy texture.
