Yes, I'm optimistic, and yes I know...I was attracted to the unique Pulse Beverage idea even before the lemon/limeades/coconut drinks were conceived. I took a "shot" at success. Likewise, Gates is taking a "shot at success" and probably his "last shot" since he's around 70. His mistake was being overly ambitious with the gender specific beverages and the numerous flavors(some questionable) of each. This made drink fomulation, labeling, production line and discrete shippings too complex for a "startup".
Just too, too ambitious!

Using his beverage industry contacts and knowledge, he was able to open up and keep open thousands of consumer locations with his interim products while waiting for re-formulation of the new non-gender specific 3 flavored Pulse. According to this latest quarterly, the new formulation has just started hitting consumer locations.

At the same time Gates is trying to stay out of debt...a smart move. He's trying his "last shot at success". You said he's failed in the past. Maybe his last attempt will not fail. It's not yet over.

Likewise, I'm taking a shot. Since I'm 70 at the end of 2015 maybe its my last one? But I'm optimistic, there is no other way to be. Maybe I'll be successful, maybe not. Its not over. Sometimes it takes 6,7,8....years for a beverage endeavor to achieve success.
