Sandridge died back when Ward was CEO, and drove the company into the ground with constant, ridiculous spending which drove their debt level through the ceiling. IIRC, he also gave himself ridiculous payouts as well throughout his time with company. Even when he was fired he was still paid handsomely while shareholders were left holding the bag with this POS.
