The BlackBerry Android Phone Can Sell In The Millions If It's Priced Competitively

Even before Evan Blass (@evleaks) started leaking tweets over an alleged upcoming BlackBerry (NASDAQ:BBRY) Android phone, SA Contributor Michael Blair already dreamed-up this possibility on April 2014. Mr. Blair called his fictional Android phone the BlackBerry X and Mr. Blass said it is called the BlackBerry 'Venice'.

Below is a screenshot of Mr. Blass' tweets showing render images of the BlackBerry Venice Android handset. It sure looks like a Samsung (OTC:SSNLF) Galaxy S6 Edge with its curved display design. The Venice though has a slide down QWERTY keyboard, which the S6 Edge does not have.
