The RXI website has 21,132,021 shares outstanding. This is a bit misleading. It causes the IO to be 60.71%, mutual fund ownership to be 6.27% and Insider Ownership to be 17.9%. That's nearly 85% of the shares outstanding according to the company website. With 4.8 million shares short (or 23% of the S/O) the numbers don't make sense and do not match the NASDAQ website. On recent conference calls, the total outstanding shares have been said to be 68M shares.

I have contacted RXI twice now asking that they update the page but have not had any response. They keep accurate numbers with other parts of the page such as updated shares short and holdings, but I don't understand why they cannot update the S/O. Unless I am wrong, but then why not respond with an explanation?
