Grant invokes the "SEC" by name to imply that he's filing with them. Yet he's filed nothing official in years. How does he keep the SEC "up to date?" A post card? Let GNGR file in the normal way and then he can boast.

Using the SEC as an endorsement in that manner is utterly inappropriate, in my opinion. Let's see what the SEC thinks! Complaints often get results... eventually. And the SEC wants tips from the investing public: http://www.sec.gov/complaint/tipscomplaint.shtml#
