Wow thanks for the hope. I have only seen musings like that when things were fixing to get hot for DPBE. We all know UNESCO only cares about UNESCO. They have really goofy mission statement too. Bunch of people who call themselves intellectuals that are always up to no good. You know what happens to things that sit on the ocean floor too long? They eventually sink too far down, get covered by living organisms or just go back to their original state. Except for gold. Wonder how much destruction digging up gold 35 feet down would cause? Which means in another 400 years every bit of it will be completely unrecognizable. This is usually only for the more shallow sites. The deeper ones where water is still and the is no sun light do stay longer. Must be a lot of those deep cultural heritage sites around the DR. oh wait. Not really. Alejandro is an archeologist. They never dove or did anything without him. He may be gone now but if diving resumed they would have to find someone. Deep Blue did what they were CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED to do. It took intellectuals and crooked government officials with their hand out to do the dirty theft type deeds.
