Yes it was a goodwill gesture the first time. Then he was supposed to retire more of the preferreds but somehow he didn't come through. I think he once got asked why he didn't follow through but I'm not sure what the argument was. Kinda like he doesn't want to give away more shares anymore. Something like that.
