Besides, any "upkeep (functional updates to modules, etc.)" should be included in any $5 to $8 a month web hosting plan as it is the responsibility of the hosting company, not the customers, to maintain their servers.
"Access to designers/content writers" is something different and that implies that the web site would be maintained by a third party. Again, not something Marani would have use for unless the content was constantly being changed.
BTW, there are also free hosting sites. All hosting plans have their pros and cons, but paying for something that isn't needed would of course be a waste of money.
