And could you please link the part where it shows the limited size of a laboratory that would restrict the amount of silk produced so far?

You seem to be under the impression that a lab can not produce anything. I would like to know what lead you to believe such a thing?

Ever heard of JPL? They produce things all the time and they are nothing but a lab. they seem to be breaking the "rule" that says labs cant produce.
