Funny how there has not been a peep out of the prosecution on the docket... last counsel update was the defense attorney appearance on ARTR's behalf about a month ago. Seems to me like the case is dead and prosecution is just dragging it out in an attempt to keep the pps depressed for as long as possible. It can't be a slam dunk case when prosecution files a motion for protective order on a material witness to be deposed by ARTR defense counsel. The last entry on the docket was a statement by the court that the bench trial date was to be reset to a new date and time. From what I can tell that has not happened yet, but why the heck not??? Ridiculous. This will inevitably run, even if it is just on notice of case closure alone. Counting the days...
