I think their concept is based on: Vascepa is unsafe if used in place of other approved drugs for CVD i.e. Statin

But that's not what they said - they wrote "no drug is safe if efficacy is not proven" for a use - which also means (to me) that if they really believe that, off-label use of all drugs should be illegal. But of course they don't want to practice medicine in place of doctors, unless it's about how to use V!
