I've been sitting back and watching this board for a long time. I don't usually post, but when I do it's after long consideration. I am a holder of this stock too, so I'm not out to berate or put down anyone. I just want to make a couple points about why as each day goes by, I become more certain that this stock is a dog and we are being played.
First of all - this so-called "commercial." Anyone see it? If so, speak up, post a link, provide some real evidence that it exists and I'll shut up. Someone below called it an "unsubstantiated rumor." No it wasn't, it was posted on their Facebook page as Fred made very clear a few days ago with a direct quote. Now, the way I see it, that makes it a promise of action, and if there is no proof that anything came of this promise, then that makes it a blatant and intentional lie. It reminds me of the excitement everyone had in the days leading up to that Mom Conference thing when everyone was so sure that Day, or someone from the company would be speaking there. Everyone was so convinced that wonderful things would happen after the conference. It's my understanding that Day watches this board and if I'm not mistaken, he's actually posted here once or twice. Would you not think that if he was at all interested in honesty he would have picked up on the misunderstanding and come in here to clarify, or at least posted something somewhere so as not to mislead his stock holders? Nope, the wild assumptions were allowed to continue. I wonder how many shares were purchased based on the false rumor concerning the Mom Conference?
Also, now they're giving this thing away. There's no money in a freebie kids. And it's not going to work to say that later on down the line they'll begin to charge for it because if that happens, users will just delete it and sign up for one of the many, many other apps that do very similar things and are free. And the longer they wait to begin charging, the more child safety apps will appear on the market. Just Google child safety apps or something like that and you'll find list upon list of available apps for both android and iphone neatly ranked and rated - and by the way, in looking up these lists myself, I didn't find Websafety listed on any of them.
I could go on, but that's enough food for thought for one day. This stock is going to the grays, sooner rather than later. I'll continue to watch, I continue to hope I'm completely wrong because like I said, I bought into this too and I'm going down with the ship (unless an absolute miracle happens and it goes back up over .05) but I refuse to get caught up in all the excitement over promises and predictions that never, ever come to pass.
