UA Multimedia Announces Corporate Updates and Near Term Plans

IRVINE, CA--July 8, 2015 -- InvestorsHub NewsWire -- UA Multimedia, Inc. (OTC Markets: UAMM), a media holding company is pleased to provide corporate updates and expansion plans for the near term.

Although Gentle was very well received at the international festival circuit including the film market in Cannes, its theatrical release in Vietnam was not as successful as expected. The movie was generally well received by the critics which praised the production values, cinematography and acting of the two leads. The audience, however, did not choose to see this drama over the other fares at the theaters therefore the box office result was not as expected. The young audience in Vietnam was found to be unfamiliar with Dostoyevski and most prefers movies that are simpler, more accessible and easier to understand. However, the filmmakers are proud of the reception of the film worldwide as a unique adaptation and one of the important films in Vietnam, and believe it would stand the test of time.

The Company is pleased that Thanh Tu won the Best Actress Award at Viet Film Fest 2015. This validated the directors pick of an unknown for the crucial role of Linh. Also, this continues the pattern of having our films win the Best Actress Award where Ngo Thanh Van achieved the same in 2013.

The Company continues to look to distribute Gentle to various markets worldwide. In addition, the Company will seek to acquire distribution rights to various US indie movies as well as partner with or acquire small film distributors to expand its media business.

The Company also plans to expand its business to include marketing services. The services can be provided by brand ambassadors, spoke persons, models and established talents in the entertainment industry.
