In my forty years of investing, I have personally found analysts forecasts to be fairly useless. They are great at telling you why something happened but can be all over the place predicting the future of a given company or the market as a whole. Just watch CNBC and you can get any prediction you want for the market for the next six months.
MU is part of my core holdings and it has been a very rough couple of weeks. At 65 years old I no longer try and play swing trades. Gave that up a few years ago. I have to believe that management is smart enough to make the necessary adjustments to righten the ship in 2016 and beyond. Seems from what I have been reading they do. I don't pay any attention to analysts but try and follow the fundamentals of the company and the adjustments they make. Hoping for a long steady climb. The profitability of a company like this is to change with the times and I think we can. Time will tell.
