Logically, it can only be because for someone, in some position, it is profitable in some way to do so.
I agree with you that it is not a large amount of shares, so that would imply someone has a way to increase the value of his portfolio later by selling a portion of his shares cheaply now. For the company , and for us, it is detrimental to delay or obstruct the steady rise of the share price - but for this person it has to be somehow beneficial.
