Saw something interesting today, while shopping for CREE T8 tubes online I noticed that earthled.com, one of the larger vendors for cree had the T8 product marked as discontinued, see here:

I asked someone in their online chat why this was, he replied to me that CREE is currently recalling the product due to a potential safety issue and perhaps over 100,000 units are affected. Quite a shame for many reasons, this is probably the best T8 product on the market with its high cri and performance but it is one of the only ones with the ability to be used with a ballast.

Needless to say I will be calling investor relations on Monday to find out if this is the case, not the type of news this stock needs right now
