Scott presumably has the wherewithal to advance a reasonable amount (loan) however it is unclear as to whether Dan has the resources required.



I honestly doubt this.

Scott isn't known for giving up money he is known for wasting what is given.

I think if Scott had the intention to loan the company money to succeed he would have loaned it ages ago. His intent seems to be let other people risk their money and then pay himself to doing nothing with it.
