Google isn't necessarily a disruptive technology. If google went away today, people would easily pick up another browser.

They make their money off of ads and informatics from businesses, not people like you or me. Again, not disruptive because if they disappeared today - businesses would flock to other companies like bing.

What they did do is build a brand. Something which MCIG has failed at because they don't have anything disruptive.
