So there are 2 cases involving the patents

That MMRF can no longer pay for. The first one is the Appeal of the Judge Wright judgements where Judge wright declared 2 of the patents invalid and ordered MMRF to pay the court costs of Allscripts, Quest, and WebMD. Some legal fees in that case are still at issue.

MMRF has twice filed for delays to file INITIAL ARGUMENTS in that case, which at the time was highly unusual since plaintiffs want the case to move and defendants want to stall. MMRF's lawyers quitting was the excuse. NOW we know MMRF is out of cash. Makes sense now why the lawyers quit. Expect some streetcorner lawyers to show up being paid in stock if ever this case moves forward.

The second case involving the patents is Allscripts filing an Invalidation case at USPTO for patent 8301466. That is a long involved and expensive case. Walgreens dropped their case at USPTO as part of the settlement. Allscripts, having a win in their pocket already has no need to.
