Daaaaaamn, I thought Doug did everything right. If I was CEO I would have done the exact same. Call them out in public and let them know that their idodic move will not go unmatched. It is better to deter them than to sit and watch the other guy just go ahead and do it. It is better to stop it up front than it is to stop it once it happens. One article I read was Spirit Airlines is the guilty party that initiated the wrath. Southwest is also guilty but the combination of the 2 are setting up a disater if unchecked. Again, Doug is right because AAL can withstand the stupidity much longer than either of the two fools in charge of the other airlines. My opinion like always.
