I think Eric has come to believe that his dreams of becoming the CEO of a multi million dollar company have become a nightmare. I think now he is just trying to salvage as much of what he has left and is damn glad he and Gal Pal have a good retirement plan. For now I think he would be happy to just stop the bleeding. To bad he didn't learn anything through the process. For one, it helps to have the support of it's shareholders for a small public company this is trying to get off the ground. In this case, I believe most past and current shareholders would just as soon see the company go belly up. He is all alone now and he knows it.
