This is the end game though isn't it? They want to be able to have minimal/no supervision and the confidence that the part is produced exactly as designed. Faster and lighter with a high degree of confidence that each and every part is within specs is the holy grail, right? The FAA is one of the most strict outfits out there. I'm not a pilot or an engineer and am guilty of oversimplifying, but I would think there are a few examples of in process quality assurance out there, even at higher levels like the FAA. It was just something that kept me up last night. This thought and the many others was impetus enough to get me to buy some more. I see this coming to fruition and changing the way things are done in a very broad range of businesses. Hopefully SGLB can corner the market and become the Intel inside.
