Your explanation of leaving log scale on makes sense. I believe many years ago I did 'experiment" and found log to be better on a longer term basis, I just forgot my exact reasoning.

Again for me I feel the linear and pure priced based prints on intraday charts such as 3, 5, 13 minute charts etc seems to work better.

I guess i was searching for my original use of the log based charts on daily and weekly time frames.
