Hi arizona1, you tend to focus on a microview of reality while I look at the big picture.

The big picture is that every year over 200 people are murdered in Baltimore out of a population of 620,000 in a very small geographical area. And those are just the murders.

The big picture is that when police officers conduct routine traffic stops, they are putting their lives on the line.

Bad things happen in bad situations. The big picture view is to not have these bad situations happen in the first place. Maybe if crime density in Baltimore were lower and the Baltimore police weren't dealing with the same people over and over again, there would be fewer bad outcomes.

You keep mentioning one police officer over and over again but the reality is there were 6 police officers involved. What's your explanation for the other 5 ?
